Over 40 US Radio Stations have added The Karma Train “Race to the Bottom EP”.  Thanks to the Music & Program Directors for playing our songs!

“Race to the Bottom” is the vibing new single from Karma Train and Dave Lebental. It’s a significant song born of this exact moment in time we are all living through.  Behind a subtle reggae groove, “Race to the Bottom” calls out the politicians, businesspeople and athletes who gain our trust as they rise to the top only to later be uncovered for their lies, cheating, and deceit. Are you listening Trump? Musk? Putin? Bezos? Zuckerberg? Armstrong? Madoff? McGwire? Sosa?

We sent out our 1st single, “Mulberry Drive” to US radio stations that we like. We focused on stations that play indie artists alongside well known artists. We stayed away from all large corporate radio stations. In the 1st week 9 cool stations, including KEXP (Seattle) and KKFI (Kansas City) added our record. We're stoked and appreciative!

Karma Train will be streaming their 1 hour live concert set on Tuesday April 15th at 7:30pm (PST) through their Youtube Channel. The performance will take place in front of a small studio audience at Leopard Lounge Studios in Los Angeles, California. Be sure to tune in.

Karma Train has just released their 1st official music video featuring their song “Mulberry Drive”. The video was produced by Chris Emmanouilides and Dave Lebental. The images reflect songwriter Dave Lebental's feelings for the simpler era he grew up and many of his generation grew up in. The video also presents a feeling of how the innocence of childhood gets lost and cant be recaptured once we become an adult. Check it out today. 

On Monday April 14th Karma Train will be releasing their debut single “Mulberry Drive” to Non-Commercial and AAA stations across the United States. The song has a fresh piano rock sound that is perfect for fans of Emitt Rhodes, Supertramp, Ben Folds, The Beatles, Tori Amos, Elton John and more. Lurking behind a playful melody are pensive thoughts about the lost innocence of childhood. Songwriter Dave Lebental sings about what a drag adult life can turn into. So jump on the Karma Train now!

Singer-songwriter Dave Lebental has been in the recording studio writing and producing new material with a mod piano rock sound.  He has put together a new live lineup and dubbed the band 'Karma Train'. Explaining the back story on the name he laughed and said “It all comes back your way. The good, the bad, and the indifferent. One day you wake up and realize you're on the train and it's not slowing down.” 

The initial Karma Train single, ‘Mulberry Drive’, is set to drop on February 21st.
